About
A fan site that keeps the receipts.
MAS Parrotheads is an independent Margaritaville at Sea resource, built and run by Off The Grid Getaways. We check every published fare once a day, keep the record, and publish what it shows — including when it's unflattering.
332 sailings tracked · 53 days of price history · updated every morning
Powered by Off The Grid Getaways
This site is built and maintained by Off The Grid Getaways, a travel advisory. That's the whole business model, stated plainly: the site is free, has no ads and no paywall, and if it's useful enough that you'd like a human to handle the booking, we'd like that to be us.
You are under no obligation whatsoever. Every fare here links straight to Margaritaville at Sea's own booking page so you can verify it and book direct if you prefer — and we make nothing when you do. Nothing on this site is gated behind talking to us.

We're fans, not the cruise line. MAS Parrotheads is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Margaritaville at Sea, Margaritaville, or Jimmy Buffett's estate. "Margaritaville at Sea," its ship names and its logos belong to them.
Venue descriptions, menus, stateroom details, shore-excursion listings and photography throughout the site are published by Margaritaville at Sea and reproduced here with attribution — every page carries a link back to the official page it came from. Ship specifications come from CruiseMapper, because MAS publishes none. If you're from Margaritaville at Sea and want something changed or removed, email us and we'll act on it.
Where the numbers come from
Every price on this site is something we recorded, not something we were given.
- A scraper reads Margaritaville at Sea's public pricing once every morning and appends the result to a log we never overwrite.
- Prices are shown all-in — the fare plus the mandatory taxes and port fees. MAS quotes a headline fare as low as a few dollars and adds $120–$230 per person on top; showing the fare alone would hide roughly a third of what you actually pay.
- Fares are per person on double occupancy, because that is the only basis MAS's system returns. A single supplement normally applies to solo travelers — the per-person price does not halve.
- The "verdict" badge on a sailing only appears once we have at least 14 captures for it. Below that we don't have enough history to say anything useful, so we say nothing.
- Sample sizes are printed next to the conclusions on our analysis pages. This is a young dataset and we'd rather you can see that.
What we deliberately refuse to build
Some of this is standard practice on travel sites. We're not doing it.
- Fake scarcity. No "only 2 cabins left!" — we have no inventory feed, so any such number would be invented.
- Countdown timers. There is no real contracted expiry to count down to.
- A cabin-number lookup. Margaritaville at Sea publishes no deck plans or cabin numbers in any machine-readable form. Building one would mean inventing locations. We publish deck ranges and square footage only where MAS states them, and say "not published" where it doesn't.
- Guessed themed sailings. Where MAS says a theme runs on "select sailings" without saying which, we label our list as candidates rather than pretend to know.
- Accounts, paywalls, or collecting your phone number and date of birth.

Corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to know — a stale price, a venue that's been renamed, a ship detail we've misread. Email support@offthegridgetaways.com and we'll fix it and say so.
